America, the Beautiful

I love this holiday where we celebrate the things we love about this beautiful country we get to live in and be a part of. I love our nation’s history and that it was common, everyday people who worked tirelessly to build it and make it great. Sometimes in the politics of today, I think we forget how special our beautiful home is and how the things we do individually combine together to make something we can all be proud of. We are lucky to live in a country built on the ideals of Liberty, Freedom, and Unity created with the vocabulary of our founding fathers when they wrote their dreams into reality. Every step we take today is on hallowed ground. I love this country, and even with the work still left to do, I still believe it’s the best place in the world. Happy Fourth of July! I’m so proud to be Free.
